1 year agoCole Custer is once again in the No. 51 Ford for Rick Ware Racing this weekend, making his third and final planned start of the season with this team. Custer has finished in 32nd-place at Atlanta and, most recently, in 35th-place at New Hampshire last weekend while driving for Rick Ware Racing this year. On Sunday, Custer will roll off the Pocono starting grid from 31st-place. He has finished in either 16th- or 17th-place in his six Cup Series starts at Pocono, but it should be noted that all of those came when he was running in much more reliable (and faster) Stewart-Haas Racing equipment. This No. 51 Ford has a best finish of 23rd-place at non-superspeedway race tracks this season. It would be surprising if Custer bettered that on Sunday at Pocono.--Jordan McAbee
