Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis Removed From COVID-19 List
3 years agoThe Buffalo Bills activated wide receivers Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis and defensive tackles Vernon Butler and Star Lotulelei from the COVID-19 list on Friday. Beasley and Davis missed a few days of practice this week, and it remains to be seen if either player will suit up in the final preseason game this Saturday against the Green Bay Packers, but both wideouts should be good to go for Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 32-year-old Beasley had 82 catches on 107 targets for 9.0 yards per target as the Bills primary slot man last year. He's a steady pass-catcher and professional route-runner and should once again be an effective chain-mover as a trusted target of quarterback Josh Allen. Beasley is a decent depth receiver in PPR leagues, but he's more of a real-life asset than a fantasy one. Davis will be a deep threat in Buffalo's offense as the No. 4 pass-catcher.
