Cole Anthony Will Miss Another One
3 years agoOrlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (ankle) won't play against the visiting Bulls. The 21-year-old will now miss his fourth consecutive contest as he deals with a right ankle sprain. This is not an ideal scenario, especially since Anthony is averaging 19.6 points, 6.8 boards, and 5.9 assists, so the team is undoubtedly hoping to have him back on Saturday in Cleveland. Nonetheless, if Terrence Ross (back) plays, he would take Anthony's place. Yet, until Ross' status is updated, it's currently Gary Harris who would remain in the starting lineup, with the veteran averaging a respectable 9.3 points and 2.3 assists while filling in. However, Franz Wagner, Mo Bamba, and Wendell Carter Jr. should pick up most of Anthony's slack offensively, regardless of who replaces him.

Cole Anthony Back On Sunday
8 hours agoOrlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (toe) will play on Sunday versus the Cavs after missing the last two games because of a left great toe strain. Jalen Suggs (knee) has been on the shelf, so Anthony has handled things at the point guard position. The 24-year-old has played well for the most part, averaging 13.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.0 steals in 22 starts during the 2024-25 campaign. With Anthony back in the equation, Cory Joseph will head back to the bench, eradicating nearly all of his fantasy potential.

Cole Anthony Back On The Injury Report
1 day agoOrlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (toe) is questionable for Sunday's meeting with the Cavaliers. He's missed the last two games because of a sprained toe. As a result, Cory Joseph has filled in at the one spot, although he had just eight points in Friday's loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. If Anthony remains out, Joseph will likely stay with the first five. However, it will likely be Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner handling most of the work on the offensive end.

Cole Anthony Unavailable Friday
2 days agoOrlando Magic point guard Cole Anthony (toe) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He was a late scratch on Thursday against the New Orleans Pelicans due to a toe injury and will miss a second straight game after being initially listed as questionable. Cory Joseph and Anthony Black will share the minutes at point guard. Joseph has logged a pair of starts lately and finished Thursday's game with 12 points, six rebounds, and three assists. Black has also had his moments this season, but he currently doesn't look very appealing from a fantasy perspective.

Cole Anthony Questionable Versus The Bulls
2 weeks agoOrlando Magic guard Cole Anthony (toe) is questionable for Thursday's game against Chicago. The 24-year-old had been handling things at the one spot in place of Jalen Suggs (knee), who is out indefinitely. However, he wasn't available when the Magic lost to the Raptors on Tuesday night. Cory Joseph got the start, finishing with eight points, five assists, and one steal. It's possible Joseph gets another crack at the starting lineup if Anthony can't return on Thursday. But fantasy managers could see a bounce back showing from Anthony Black, who had just five points versus Toronto.
