Colby Thomas Continuing To Succeed At Triple-A
3 months agoOakland Athletics outfield prospect Colby Thomas has yet to slow down at Triple-A Las Vegas and is making a case to see time in the major leagues during the stretch run of the season. Since moving up to the top level of the minor leagues on June 18, Thomas has posted a dominant .291/.378/.512 line with four home runs, 16 RBI, and two swiped bags. The Mercer product opened the season with Double-A and held a strong .282/.340/.568 line with 14 home runs and 47 RBI across 59 games. Since June 28, Thomas has been showcasing his high-potential raw power with an eye-catching .968 OPS. Thomas is ranked as the number 11 prospect in the Oakland system and is making a strong case to see major league time later this summer.
