Cody Ware Needs Some Luck To Get Good Finish At Atlanta On Sunday
2 years agoWhen it comes to superspeedway racing, there are a handful of drivers that are pretty talented when it comes to avoiding the carnage that happens most often during pack racing. One of those drivers is Cody Ware. In addition to finishing 14th in this year's Daytona 500, Ware ended up 23rd and 26th in the two Atlanta Cup Series races last season--both of which were better than his average result of 27.8 during the 2022 campaign. This weekend at Atlanta, Cody Ware qualified 32nd for Sunday's Ambetter Health 400, and will likely need some carnage to walk away with a decent result. The two races at Atlanta last season each saw 11+ cars retired due to mechanical issues or wrecks.
