Cody Ware Has Playability at Atlanta
3 months agoTypically, Cody Ware isn't thought of as a very good DFS pick, but when the NASCAR Cup Series travels to a superspeedway track, you have to throw conventional wisdom out the window. The draft is a great equalizer in racing, and Ware has shown the ability to avoid wrecks at superspeedways. Just a couple of weeks ago, for example, he was able to avoid the carnage at Daytona and came home with a career-best fourth-place finish after starting back in 33rd. This weekend at Atlanta, Ware qualified 31st, so he has similar Place Differential upside to what he had at Daytona. Since Atlanta Motor Speedway was repaved before the start of the 2022 season, Ware has made three starts at this track and has finished between 23rd and 26th each time. In large-field DFS tournaments, it's likely a good idea to be overweight to the field when it comes to Ware, just in case things get crazy.
