Cody Bellinger "Fine" After Being Removed From Game
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger (leg) left Tuesday's game early after fouling a ball off his leg. The move was a precautionary one by manager Dave Roberts, who proclaimed Bellinger to be "fine" after the game. He's considered day-to-day but no one is really worried. The reigning National League Rookie of the Year is looking to bounce back from an abysmal showing in the World Series, and fantasy owners are hopeful for anything approaching his rookie record of 39 home runs. He was fantasy gold last year despite not starting the season on the 40-man roster. It's possible that his record-setting whiffs in the playoffs have depressed his value in some drafts.
