Coby White Has Double-Double Versus Denver
4 years agoChicago Bulls point guard Coby White picked up his fourth double-double of the season in Monday's loss to Denver, racking up 20 points and a team-high 10 rebounds. He also had three assists with three turnovers in 37 minutes. Zach LaVine went for 23 points on 9-for-20 shooting and the Bulls backcourt combined for 16-for-37 shooting, so it was a struggle but Chicago still managed to hang with one of the league's top dogs. White has recorded half of his double-doubles in the last four games and both have interestingly come via rebounds. Don't expect the trend to continue, as White meets with the Pelicans next who boast the league's best rebounding rate, but the second-year guard had 30 points the last time these two met on Feb. 10, so he should still enjoy a productive night.
