Coby Mayo Goes Deep For The 19th Time At Triple-A
4 months agoBaltimore Orioles third base prospect Coby Mayo went 1-for-4 with his 19th round-tripper at Triple-A and 22nd of the season. Mayo has been one of the best hitters in the minor leagues this season and is on the verge of making his major league debut. Through 61 games at Triple-A Norfolk, the fourth-round pick has posted a .299/.381/.611 line with 55 RBI and a 30:69 BB:K ratio. In a 62-game sample size at Triple-A last season, Mayo posted a much lower .267/.393/.512 line with only 12 home runs, which shows how significant of a step forward he took this summer. Mayo is considered a must-stash option in all formats, as he could provide elite power production when given the call to the major leagues.
