Coby Mayo Finding Power At Triple-A
1 day agoBaltimore Orioles infield prospect Coby Mayo has begun to find his power at Triple-A. After starting the Triple-A regular season, posting an underwhelming .125/.267/.250 line with one long ball, Mayo has begun to flip the script. He has gone deep in each of his previous two games and is riding an impressive seven-game hitting streak. During this streak, Mayo has held a .360/.469/.720 slash line with three doubles, two round-trippers, and eight RBI. He has also shown a strong eye at the plate, posting a 6:7 BB:K. Last summer, Mayo made his MLB debut but tallied just four hits (all singles) across his first 17-game stint. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as Mayo could push for a return to the majors. However, he may need to wait for an injury in the Baltimore infield to be in contention.
