Clint Frazier Headed To Injured List
6 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier (ankle) will head to the injured list, and manager Aaron Boone said Frazier has a partial tear in his left ankle. The Yankees think it could be 10 to 14 days before he's ready to return. As if the Yankees weren't already injured enough, they're now losing their hottest bat. Frazier was slashing .324/.342/.632 with six home runs and 17 RBI in 68 at-bats. He'll join outfielders Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge and Aaron Hicks on the injured list. It means that Mike Tauchman and Tyler Wade should continue seeing playing time in the outfield. While Frazier was hot to start the year, his playing time might not be guaranteed when he returns if the Yankees other outfielders return healthy.
