Clint Frazier Exits Wednesday’s Game After Hit By Pitch
3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier exited Wednesday's game against the Angels in the top of the third inning after being hit by a pitch earlier in the contest. The Yankees outfielder was hit by a Shohei Ohtani pitch in the bottom of the first inning. He was replaced in the game by Tyler Wade. It's unclear how serious Frazier's injury is and an update will be provided after the game. Frazier has struggled at the plate this season, slashing .186/.313/.317 with five home runs, 15 RBI and two stolen bases across 217 plate appearances in 2021. Brett Gardner and Wade would see an uptick in playing time if Frazier's injury sidelines him for any period of time.
