6 years agoToronto Blue Jays starter Clayton Richard allowed two runs on three hits through four innings of work during a 3-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday night. Richard struggled with his control, walking four batters while striking out three. The 35-year-old has only started two games for the Blue Jays this season, allowing a combined three runs over eight innings. He is useful waiver wire fodder against mediocre opponents but offers no long-term value. Richard is expected to face the New York Yankees in his next start.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
