Clayton Kershaw Won't Require Tommy John Surgery
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers received good news following an MRI on starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (forearm) on Tuesday. The MRI showed no signs of ligament damage, meaning he won't require Tommy John surgery. He's still ruled out for the postseason, but it now seems like he has a good shot at being ready for spring training next year, barring any setbacks. The Dodgers star had yet another strong year in 2021 despite dealing with multiple injuries. He made 22 starts and went 10-8 with a 3.55 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP.
