Clayton Kershaw Throws Two Inning Sim Game On Friday
6 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw threw a two inning simulated game with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday, per manager Dave Roberts. The lefty touched 90 MPH on his fastball. Kershaw is expected to throw another sim game next week but there is still no timeline for when he may begin a minor league rehab stint. Dodger fans and fantasy managers shouldn't expect his return until after the All Star break. His return should help provide stability to the backend of the Dodgers' rotation, which has been spotty after Tyler Glasnow and Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Fantasy managers eager for a Dodgers starter may want to consider picking up Gavin Stone, who's limiting hitters with a 2.90 ERA and a 1.194 WHIP.
