Clayton Kershaw Still Expected To Start Tuesday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw is expected to start Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Twins, despite the passing of his mother on Saturday, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. Manager Dave Roberts told reporters that he might go on the bereavement list afterwards, meaning he could miss a start. Age hasn't affected Kershaw much, as he owns a 2.36 ERA, 29.0% strikeout rate, and 0.95 WHIP with a 6-2 record over eight starts this season. The 35-year-old is a must-start in every format as a four-category contributor.
