Clayton Kershaw Activated, Set To Start Monday
3 years agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers have activated starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw (elbow) from the 60-day injured list. He is set to start Monday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Kershaw has been out since July 7 due to left elbow discomfort. He made a rehab start at Triple-A last week, pitching three innings and allowing two runs. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters that the plan is for Kershaw to pitch around four innings, estimating no more than 60 pitches. The veteran has had a strong year with a 3.39 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP, but his fantasy upside is certainly limited on Monday and it may remain somewhat limited over the final weeks of the year as the Dodgers ease him back into things.
