2 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Clay Holmes was unavailable for Saturday's Game 3, according to manager Aaron Boone. He mentioned that he didn't want to use Holmes in back-to-back situations. Instead, the Yankees used Wandy Peralta and Clarke Schmidt who combined to blow the two-run lead against the Cleveland Guardians. Now, the Yankees will be fighting off elimination on Sunday night.
