7 months agoNew York Yankees right-hander Clay Holmes earned his sixth save in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cleveland Guardians. Holmes struck out two and gave up one hit in Saturday's victory. This was Holmes' first save since last Tuesday. Holmes remains unblemished in the 2024 season. The 31-year-old is (1-0) with a 1.14 WHIP but only has five strikeouts in seven innings. He continues to get the job done and has converted 6-of-7 save chances this season. Holmes should continue to get the same chances as the Yankee's primary closer.--Mike Carter - RotoBaller
