5 years agoPittsburgh Pirates relief pitcher Clay Holmes has been placed on the 10-day injured list with discomfort in his left quadriceps. Holmes has only appeared in two games since coming off the IL earlier this month with a triceps injury, going 5 2/3 innings and giving up one earned run on two hits and seven walks. His 6.05 ERA this season and 6.84 ERA last season should show that he is not a pitcher you should be turning to in fantasy.--Manley Michael
