1 year agoNew York Yankees reliever Clay Holmes completed Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Detroit Tigers, pitching a perfect ninth inning while striking out a batter to earn his 18th save of the campaign. The right-hander is amid another successful season, pitching to a 3.11 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 27.3% strikeout rate across 55 innings. Although he lost the closer role for a little while midseason, Holmes has converted nine saves since the beginning of July and is the only arm in the Yankees bullpen that fantasy managers should roster in standard save formats.--Spencer Seguin
