4 months agoClemson left-handed pitcher Tristan Smith was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the fifth round (pick No. 150) of the MLB Draft. The 21-year-old has a plus-fastball with a wipeout slider and effective changeup. Smith has battled with his control but with a solid three-pitch repertoire, he projects as a potential middle-of-the-rotation starting pitcher.
