Chuba Hubbard Could See A Larger Role In Week 4
1 year agoCarolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard was quiet in Week 3, seeing just one carry and three targets in a loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Hubbard will look to bounce back in Week 4's home matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. While struggling against the pass, Minnesota's defense has been effective against the run through the first three weeks, allowing the 22nd-most fantasy points per game to opposing running backs. That being said, Miles Sanders (groin) missed practice on Friday after getting in limited sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. A late-week downgrade is never great news, so Hubbard could be the Panthers' starter on Sunday if Sanders isn't ready to go. Treat Hubbard as a solid RB3 if Sanders is inactive in Week 4.
