Christopher Bell Shows Grit At Michigan
1 year agoChristopher Bell, who started on the pole in the FireKeepers Casino 400, was contending for the lead on lap 65 when he began spinning, causing damage to his Toyota Camry. Although the accident did not end his day, it did cause him to fall to the back of the field just 10 laps before the race was delayed for weather. Despite having to start P32 on Monday, Bell showed a lot of grit and late-run speed as he ended up 13th. While the No. 20 did not have the type of day that warranted his nearly 30% ownership on DK, he did show his ability to overcome adversity on what was a challenging weekend for many teams.
