Christopher Bell Looking To Go Back-To-Back At Phoenix After Championship Snub
2 days agoChristopher Bell didn't hold back this weekend at Phoenix Raceway after the controversy at Martinsville last weekend, as the Joe Gibbs Racing driver simply said, "I feel cheated," when discussing his elimination from Championship contention. And while Bell won't be able to compete for his first-ever series Championship, he will be able to contend for the race win at Phoenix once again this weekend. In the first race in the desert earlier this season, Bell put on a masterful effort, winning the race by over five seconds despite starting back in 13th-place. This weekend, Bell qualified a little better (eighth), and while the No. 20 Toyota didn't look as fast in practice as it did this spring, you can't count out the driver that has been the fastest (by far) on the short, flat tracks this season. If Bell has anywhere close to the amount of speed in his No. 20 Toyota this weekend as he did in the spring race here at Phoenix, he makes an excellent DFS pick on Sunday, especially at a very palatable price of $10,300 on DraftKings.
