1 year agoChristopher Bell enters Sunday's Martinsville race as one of the obvious pre-race favorites considering he won last year's event to advance to the Championship Four, is on a strong hot streak with back-to-back top two finishes in the first two races of this round. Bell seems to have the fastest cars as all four Joe Gibbs Racing cars placed in the top seven in qualifying, As befitting a sprint car star, he is especially strong on short tracks and ranks third in speed percentile on that track type. Now, his teammates are probably more likely to win as Martin Truex, Jr. and Denny Hamlin need to win to advance.
