Christopher Bell Finishes 16th At Daytona
1 year agoChristopher Bell finished 16th in Saturday's Coke Zero Sugar 400, but his finish is not the big story coming out of Daytona. For Bell, the talk this week will be about him costing his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Ty Gibbs, a shot at the playoffs. With one lap to go in stage two, the No. 20 made contact with the No. 54, causing a major wreck that ended the day for his JGR teammate. Fortunately for Bell, while there may be some uncomfortable moments between the two at the garage this week, Gibbs is unlikely to retaliate against his teammate, which should give the 28-year-old some peace of mind heading into the postseason.
