Christopher Bell Could Pay Off Well For Charlotte Roval DFS Lineups
1 month agoJoe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell will start 12th on Sunday's Bank of America ROVAL 400 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval Course. This marks Bell's worst starting position since joining Joe Gibbs Racing in 2021 and only the second time at the site he will start a race outside the Top 10. In four previous Cup starts at the Charlotte Roval, Bell has two top-10 finishes, including a win in the 2022 race at the site. Through 31 races so far this season, Bell has three wins, 843 laps led (third-most of all drivers), and is tied for the most top-10 finishes (19). The No. 20 Toyota driver is one of the best drivers at road and street courses this year, as he has three top-15 finishes at the track types, including a runner-up finish at COTA. In first practice, Bell ranked 12th in five consecutive lap averages, seventh in 10 consecutive lap averages, and 13th in overall lap averages. In final practice, Bell ranked seventh in overall lap averages and sixth in five consecutive lap averages. Based on his equipment, history, and practice speeds, Bell is a solid driver to recommend for any DFS contest who will compete for a top-5 finish.
