Christin Stewart Back In Lineup, Niko Goodrum Leading Off
6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Christin Stewart (quadriceps) is back in the starting lineup on Friday, playing left field and hitting second against Twins starting pitcher Jake Odorizzi. Niko Goodrum is hitting leadoff, while slumping third baseman Jeimer Candelario is dropped to the No. 6 spot. Stewart is hitting just .218 this year in his 55 at-bats with three homers and 13 RBI. He's a mediocre DFS target in his first game back from the injured list. Goodrum sees a DFS boost on Friday, but he's hitting only .227 with three homers, 11 RBI and three steals on the year. Candelario, who is 4-for-28 (.143) with 10 strikeouts and four walks this month, should be benched until further notice.
