Christian Yelich Has One Last Blast In 2018
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich went down swinging in NLCS Game 7 Saturday. As the second batter in the bottom of the first inning, he would drill a solo homer to give the Brewers the early run. Later, trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Yelich would drive a ball over the head of the outfield with a runner at second which Chris Taylor wouldn't give up on and made a running reaching catch to prevent the run and end the inning. Yusiel Puig would drill a three-run homer in the next half-inning to give the Dodgers a cushion and the final score of the game at 5-1. In 2018, Yelich came so close to winning the National League triple crown and is a heavy favorite for the NL MVP. There is a strong possibility that 2019 fantasy drafts could see Yelich break into the first round in some leagues.
