Christian Yelich Clubs Second Spring Home Run On Tuesday
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Christian Yelich went 2-for-3 with a home run and a strikeout in Tuesday's 9-6 win over the Dodgers. Yelich belted a home run to left-centerfield off of Walker Buehler in the bottom of the first inning for his second long-ball of the spring. He's heating up at the right time, with four hits in his last three games- two of them for extra bases- raising his spring average to .444. Yelich is as good a bounce-back candidate for 2021 as anyone after averaging 109 runs scored, 40 home runs, 104 RBI, 24 stolen bases, and a .327 batting average in his last two full seasons with the Brewers before slumping through 2020. He currently has a 13 ADP, which may be undervaluing him slightly.
