Christian Wood Scores Career-High 29 Points
5 years agoDetroit Pistons power forward Christian Wood finished Wednesday's loss to OKC with a career-high 29 points on 12-for-16 shooting. He went an amazing 5-or-6 from deep, adding nine rebounds, three assists, and one block to his line in 39 minutes. Wood has now posted 20-plus points in five of his past seven appearances, and he's also collected six double-doubles since the start of last month, which further boosts his fantasy value. The 24-year-old is finishing the season on a high, and he gets to impress next in a back-to-back set against Utah and New York. The first matchup is a tricky one, but Wood should have a field day against the lowly Knicks on Sunday.
