Christian Watson Reels In Two More Touchdowns In Week 11
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson caught four of his six targets, gaining 48 yards and scoring two touchdowns during the team's 27-17 loss to the Tennessee Titans. After finishing as the WR2 overall last week in Half-PPR formats, the rookie receiver caught two more touchdowns Thursday, bringing his total to five over the past two games. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has targeted Watson heavily when in the red zone lately, leading to incredible and potentially unsustainable results. While we can't expect him to score multiple times in each game moving forward, it is clear that the 23-year-old has become a favorite target of Rodgers when in scoring range, making his weekly scoring ceiling high. While the matchup against Philadelphia next week is not great, Watson has entered must-start territory from here on out and should be considered a WR3 in Week 12.
