Christian Watson Could See Workload Increase In Week 10
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson will face the Dallas Cowboys in Week 10. The rookie reportedly left last week's game against Detroit due to a concussion, but the team stated this week that he never suffered a concussion but was placed in the protocol due to being barred from returning to the contest. Watson has practiced in full this week and was left off the final injury report. He should see an increase in snap percentage with fellow rookie Romeo Doubs (ankle) out for at least the next four weeks. Doubs has accounted for 16.1% of the team's total target share this season, the second most to Allen Lazard. Sammy Watkins should also see a slight target bump, but Watson possesses a much higher fantasy ceiling. Dallas is not a bad matchup for fantasy wide receivers, but it would be better to look in a different direction for a FLEX option this week unless you are desperate. Watson is a name to monitor this weekend but is not a recommended fantasy option.
