1 year agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey has already gone for 1,000 yards rushing and 1,000 yards receiving in a season before, and ESPN's Dan Graziano wouldn't be surprised if he does it again in 2023. McCaffrey was 259 receiving yards short of accomplishing the feat a second time in 2022, even after being traded to San Fran midseason. The 27-year-old knows the offense so much better this year, and the Niners expect him to go off as a result. However, the 49ers will still take CMC off the field more than the Panthers did and use Elijah Mitchell and/or Tyrion Davis-Price in certain spots to avoid overworking him. But if healthy, McCaffrey's efficiency should make him the No. 1 overall fantasy back, at least in PPR leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
