Christian McCaffrey Looks To Be Borderline RB1 This Week
6 years agoCarolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey looks to be a great start this week against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Last season the Cowboys were one of the better teams against running backs, averaging 16.4 points per game. In addition, the Cowboys gave up an average of 0.5 touchdowns per game to running backs. However, the Panthers tipped their hand in the preseason as to the expected usage that McCaffrey has in the offense. McCaffrey is clearly the lead back and one of the better options in the passing game. Even if he doesn't make the end zone this week, his high usage in both the rushing and passing games should give him a high floor.
