1 year agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Christian Kirk recorded only one catch for nine yards in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Colts. It was an incredibly disappointing output for last year's WR12, as Kirk only received three total targets in the game. First-year Jag Calvin Ridley stole the show with eight catches on 11 targets for 101 yards and a touchdown. It's only the season's first game, but this performance certainly does not leave fantasy managers feeling good about Kirk's target share in this offense. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence clearly favored the aforementioned Ridley all over the field. However, Kirk had the much tougher matchup with nickel corner Kenny Moore II tagging him much of the game. Look for him to bounce back against the Kansas City Chiefs, a team he torched for nine catches, 102 yards, and two touchdowns last year.--Ryan J. Goodman
