Chris Thompson Likely Not 100 Percent Until November
6 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson (leg) says he will likely not be fully healed until November. His role is reported to not change much despite the drafting of an exciting rookie running back. Thompson caught 39 passes for 510 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games of 2017 before he broke his leg. The team plans to rotate Thompson in regularly on the ground to keep both running backs healthy and productive. Thompson probably won't be as effective as he was in 2017 before his injury now that the rookie is in the mix now, but he can still be a value pick in drafts as an RB3/flex type in PPR leagues.
