Chris Taylor Remains Out With Neck Injury
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Chris Taylor (neck) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. According to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts, Taylor will likely be out for Tuesday's game as well. The team is planning on making a decision on his situation on Wednesday. Taylor is dealing with a neck injury and he may require a trip to the injured list. Gavin Lux has seen an increase in playing time with Taylor out. Lux could continue to have a semi-regular role going forward if Taylor indeed lands on the injured list. The 31-year-old Taylor has been enjoying one of the best years of his career in 2021. Over 135 games, he's slashed .258/.346/.450 with 20 home runs, 13 stolen bases, 72 RBI and 87 runs.
