Chris Sale Looks Good In Spring Debut
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale gave up two hits, no walks and struck out seven in four innings in his Grapefruit League debut on Saturday against the Braves. The hard-throwing southpaw was sidelined with inflammation in his left shoulder for most of the second half of last season and wants to stay healthy all year in 2019. The Red Sox have dialed Sale's workload down considerably in the early part of spring training so that he can hopefully stay healthy for the long haul. Sale is expected to be named as the team's Opening Day starter and is RotoBaller's No. 2 fantasy pitcher this year.
