Chris Sale Gets Win In First Start Of Season
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale made his first start in 730 days Saturday, and he was very effective in five innings. Sale allowed two runs, both on solo homers, on six hits and no walks. He struck out eight batters. Sale threw 89 pitches, reinforcing the idea that the Red Sox were not going to bring him back until he was fully stretched out. Fantasy managers can expect Sale to make a big impact going forward, with the potential to be a top-20 starter for the remainder of the year.
