Chris Sale, David Price To Start First Two Games Of ALCS
6 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitchers Chris Sale and David Price will start the first two games of the American League Championship Series against the Astros. Price was very shaky in his start in the Division Series against the Yankees, allowing three runs (two homers) in just 1 2/3 innings in Game 2. The left-hander is 0-9 with a 6.03 ERA in 10 career playoff starts. Sale will face off with Houston ace Justin Verlander in Game 1. Sale will be a strong DFS play for obvious reasons. Price will be a risky one, although he held Houston to a 3.65 ERA (five earned runs in 12 1/3 innings) in his two starts against them this year.
