Chris Paul Upgraded To Available
4 years agoPhoenix Suns guard Chris Paul (shoulder) is available for Sunday's matchup against the Lakers. Paul continues to deal with a lingering right shoulder issue sustained in Game 1 of the series. Although he will be on the floor, he will likely be limited to some degree, which will cause the Los Angeles defense to pay extra attention to Devin Booker, who had a rough shooting effort in Game 3. Cameron Payne should also be on the DFS radar, primarily since he should be in line for more minutes and chances on the offensive end.

Chris Paul Considered Probable For Thursday's Game
4 months agoSan Antonio Spurs point guard Chris Paul (thumb) is expected to remain in the lineup on Thursday versus Utah, with the team listing him as probable for the game. The veteran floor general hurt his left thumb against Oklahoma City but was able to finish the contest. It looks like it's not a very serious injury, and Paul will be good to go for Thursday's juicy matchup -- only Chicago and Washington have allowed more fantasy points to opposing points guards than Utah. Paul has bagged three double-doubles in his last five appearances, averaging 10.7 points and 8.5 assists for the season.

Chris Paul Signing With The Spurs
9 months agoFree agent guard Chris Paul will sign a one-year, $11 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs. After being in the league for nearly two decades, Paul's production has dipped significantly. He appeared in 58 games for the Warriors last season, finishing with averages of 9.2 points, 6.8 assists, and 1.2 steals. While the 39-year-old likely won't be a consistent producer for the up-and-coming Spurs, his presence will be invaluable for the development of reigning Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama and the rest of the young players on a team hoping at least to earn a Play-In bid in 2024-25.

Chris Paul Pushes Back Guaranteed Contract
9 months agoGolden State Warriors guard Chris Paul has agreed to push back the date to his $30 million guaranteed contract for the 2024-2025 season. The veteran guard will push back the date until late Sunday night. Doing that gives the Warriors a chance to explore trade partners for the All-Star guard. Paul certainly isn't in his prime anymore, but he can still contribute to an NBA roster. He should still be able to be a viable fantasy option depending on what team decides to pick him up.
