Chris Paul Plays Just 19 Minutes During Blowout Win
5 years agoDespite posting top-20 value for nearly a decade-plus, Chris Paul entered this season with an ADP of 43rd overall when you took the average of ESPN and Yahoo leagues. On Sunday, owners got an idea of why Paul might have fallen as far as he did during drafts, scoring 10 points to go with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two three-pointers in only 19 minutes of on-court action. Paul will have portions of the season where he will make his pre-draft value look silly, but the nine-time NBA All-Star is a candidate for random rest days and less substantial workloads during blowouts. None of that means you didn't still get value on the veteran, but you will have to deal with some headache situations here and there.
