Chris Paul Leads The Charge Versus Sixers
4 years agoPhoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul scored a team-high 28 points on 10-for-17 shooting in Wednesday's road win over Philadelphia, adding eight assists with three rebounds, one block and zero turnovers. CP3 was 5-for-8 from downtown and 3-for-4 at the foul line. Paul's scoring numbers have been up and down all year, but he's now managed to drop 20-plus points in back-to-back games. The veteran floor general will look to post his first three-game streak of 20-point games this season on Thursday against Boston. He'll be in a very tough spot as a 35-year-old with no rest days, but Paul has actually been very solid in such situations all year, shooting over 50 percent from the field and averaging 16.6 points per game, which is higher than his season average.
