Chris Paul Hands Out Season-High 19 Assists
4 years agoPhoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul assisted everybody and their mother in Friday's 132-114 win over New Orleans, recording a season-high 19 dimes with 15 points, four rebounds, two steals, and one block. He shot 6-for-11 from the field and 3-for-5 from beyond the arc with two turnovers in 31 minutes. CP3 just keeps on proving his doubters wrong. His legs were supposed to be gone two years ago, but he's come out and averaged over 20 points per game this month on 56 percent shooting, adding seven assists and five rebounds. The Suns finish off a back-to-back set on Saturday against Memphis, so fantasy managers should follow the news closely. Paul starts off next week with a nice matchup against the Trail Blazers, who have a poor defensive record against opposing point guards.
