Chris Paul Fails To Take Advantage Of Great Matchup
4 years agoPhoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul had a big struggle on Saturday against San Antonio, finishing a 111-85 loss with just six points and six dimes. He shot 3-for-10 from the field and completed his line with three rebounds. CP3 couldn't take advantage of a dream situation, with San Antonio allowing a league-high 26.5 points per 48 minutes to point guards this season. It was a nightmare for the whole team as Devin Booker was the only starter with double figures in scoring (15). Jevon Carter led the team with 17 points on 7-for-11 shooting. Paul and the Suns find themselves in a horrible bounce-back spot on Monday against the Bucks, who are a very good defensive team and have Giannis Antetokounmpo back in the lineup.
