Chris Paul, Dennis Schroder Combine For 44 Points
5 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guards Chris Paul and Dennis Schroder both scored 22 points in Sunday's narrow 112-111 loss to Boston. Paul shot 8-for-15 from the field and Schroder, who logged a team-high 38 minutes off the bench, shot 8-for-21. CP3 polished things off with five rebounds, five assists, and two steals, while Schroder had seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block. The German might be coming off the bench but he's been used heavily, and he's been in very good offensive rhythm in recent weeks, scoring 20-plus points in nine of his past 10 games. The Thunder point guards have a pair of favorable matchups against San Antonio and New Orleans coming up before the All-Star break.
