2 years agoBoston Red Sox relief pitcher Chris Martin (shoulder) has been placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation. The 36-year-old righty has been one of the more reliable arms out of the Red Sox bullpen this season, posting a 2.57 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, and 2:1 K/BB ratio to go along with three holds over seven innings. Shoulders can be tricky so there's a chance that Martin remains on the IL past his 15 day minimum.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
