3 years agoAtlanta Braves relief pitcher Chris Martin (shoulder) will throw one more bullpen session and two more simulated games before he's possibly activated from the injured list at some point next week. It looks as though the Braves don't think he'll need any time at the club's alternate training site after he's missed three weeks with right shoulder inflammation. As long as he doesn't have any setbacks in his throwing sessions, the 34-year-old reliever should be back in the Braves bullpen shortly. Martin has allowed one earned run while striking out one in just 1 2/3 innings over two appearances so far this season before going on the injured list. Will Smith remains the team's closer and is the guy to own for saves in fantasy leagues in Atlanta's 'pen.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
